This sculpture is carved in an elegant flame-like shape, which follows the natural curve of the piece of wood. It is done in a dark Solomon Island rosewood (Pterocarpus indicus), and is mounted on a 1.5” thick teardrop base.
The carving depicts many reef fish, a whale, a dolphin, two rays and various coral at the base.
