Each year these whales leave their feeding grounds in Alaska and migrate to the warm waters of Hawaii.

This piece was carved by Andrei Morozov, who was born and raised on the east side of the Ural Mountains in Russia. He moved to the United States in 1992 and splits his time between Homer, Alaska, and Kauai.

Sculpted out of naturally colored fossilized walrus jawbone from St. Lawrence Island, Alaska.
